Project Refurbishment of Operating Theatre (18)

MB Electrical Services worked with Kane Constructions to refurbish Operating Theatre 18 at Greenslopes Private Hospital. The works were carried out whilst the hospital and adjacent theatre were in frequent use, requiring regular communication with all stakeholders to ensure minimal interruption to the health services provided by the functional hospital. Services to the Operating Theatre included hydraulic, mechanical, electrical, data and communications, dry fire services, fire sprinklers, nurse call, C-bus, security and medical gases.

MB Electrical Services is proud to be part of the team to deliver the state of the art Herston Biofabrication Institute. 

The 1,500-sqm facility is advancing knowledge and technology in 3D scanning, 3D modelling and 3D printing of medical devices, bone, cartilage and human tissue. Opened in 2020, the Institute boasts research facilities focusing on orthopaedics, urology, vascular surgery, burns, and cancer care and 3D printing and manufacturing laboratories to produce medical devices, bone, cartilage and human tissue.
